Bold values indicate the effect is replaced, italicized values indicate that the effect is cleared. Status Effect Interaction Table PLEASE DO NOTICE THESE VALUES AREN'T ALL UP TO DATE BUT ALL UP TO DATE TO v1.10.99 ROUGHLY, this table will be updated more often post-release of early access.Įach value shown is a percent increase or decrease in damage. Refreshes prioritize damage, meaning if you try to apply a burning status to someone that is already burning, the new status will replace the old one if it deals more damage. Non-stackable status effects instead, refresh their timers when applied again. For example, Burning will increase the damage dealt by Magma Magic by 10%, and reduce the damage dealt by Water Magic by 20%.įinally, some status effects stack, which means re-inflicting the status effect on a target that already has it will refresh the duration of the effect, and increase its strength. In addition to its primary effects, most status effects will increase or decrease damage from other magics. Stunning statuses have a cooldown of 10 seconds. Effects can be cleared by either charging continuously for one second or getting hit by an attack from that magic. When applied, the attacker's intensity stat is taken into account and increases the duration by a minor amount.Īlmost all status effects can be cleared through use of particular magics - for example Burning is cleared by Water Magic, among others. Some status effects have extra conditions however, such as Paralyzed only applying if the target takes one third of their maximum health in a single hit. Most status effects are applied whenever a target is damaged by a particular magic, such as Light Magic inflicting Blinded. There are currently 20 status effects in the game. Not all of them can be applied however, with the only status effects that can be applied being Burning, Corroding, and Scorching. Ship Status Effects work in a similar way to standard Status Effects but can be applied to ships. Each one applies an effect to the target, such as stunning or blinding them, and can interact with other magics in unique ways. Status Effects are modifiers that are applied to players or NPCs when they're hit by various things including Magics and Sharks.
